Once formed, the Company mounted its first production, Love, Sex, and the IRS in May 1988. The Stage Company has continued to vary its performance material from kid friendly Wizard of Oz in 2009 to the more risqué Chicago in 2006. We continue to grow as a Company and as actors through our diverse subject matter.
Before we had a permanent home, the Company performed in church fellowship halls, gyms, ball fields, outdoors in Bacon Park, and in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center at Three Rivers Community College. We now call the historic Rodgers Theater home. Through the opportunities the Rodgers offers us we are able to offer expanded performance schedules and more elaborate productions.
Our performance schedule is fixed. All regular productions will run two weekends. The first week, the schedule will be Friday-Saturday, the curtain rises at 7:30 PM. The second weekend will be Friday-Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30 PM. We hope this makes it easier for you to schedule your theatrical experience. We have also expanded our spring musical performance runs. We are thrilled to offer the people of Southeast Missouri an extra weekend of our biggest production of the year.
