Have you been bit by the acting bug and want to give it a try? Auditions for all Stage Company shows are open to anyone and everyone. Upcoming audition dates, times, and any special requirements (i.e., how many men and women, any parts for children, any age restrictions, etc.) will be posted on the homepage of our website.

Auditions usually consist of a "cold reading" from the script (as well as sing and possibly dancing if it is a musical). Even if you don't think you're right for a part, come audition anyway! You never know what a director might be thinking they want for a particular production. And it's always a joy to welcome new people into the Company. Many people have auditioned for one show, didn't get a part, but were remembered for future productions and then cast in another show.

Remember, we are not looking for you to give a polished performance in your audition. We are looking for people who have the potential to mold themselves into these characters through the rehearsal process. We're much more interested in you being excited and having a positive attitude and lots of energy than we are in you giving a perfect performance at the audition.

Always feel free to contact us at if you have any questions.

Behind the Scenes

Many people find that they're more comfortable or that their talents are better put to use behind the scenes. Without a solid crew, a show will fall apart, and so it is necessary to have a strong and committed behind-the-scenes team working together as well. We need people for: Assistant Directors (to work with the Director through the entire rehearsal and performance period), stage managers, sets, stage crew, lighting, sound, and house management/box office. If you are interested in being on the crew but do not want to audition, please come by one of the audition nights and fill out an interest form.

The Stage Company is a community effort, and so we need lots of help. We occasionally have event in the community - such as at the local library - to both enrich the community with artistic endeavors as well as promote upcoming productions. Those willing to volunteer their time, resources, money, and enthusiasm are always welcome. Look on the homepage of our website for information about upcoming opportunities to volunteer.

Spread the Word

Think The Stage Company is great? Let others know! Word of mouth is our best tool to let the community know about what we've got going on. Encourage your friends, family, coworkers and the like to attend a production or to get involved.

We are a non-profit group that relies heavily on donations. You can donate anything from your time, to resources (i.e., props, costumes, lumber, paint, etc.), to cash donations. Every little bit helps!

Sponsor a Show

Local businesses and individuals are needed to sponsor each show of the season. You get prominant billing on the show poster and program, as well as a full-page ad in all the programs of the season. We'll also mention you frequently when we promote the show on the radio and elsewhere. Drop us a line at and let us know if you're interested.
